Citroën provides access to Citroën Service under the link service.citroen.com. Users can register in the Citroën Service portal and use four different utilities:
- Documentation, Support, Diagnostics and Training.
Users who wish to use the "Diagnostics" service have two options: The diagnostics complete solution and diagnostics and repair individual solution according to the vehicle identification number (VIN).
The diagnostics complete solution can be purchased for a period of use of 36 months (downpayment and monthly payments). The prices are listed on the web page.
On the other hand, Citroën offers a tuned diagnostics and repair individual solution based on the VIN. In this case, users acquire a so-called "Jeton" license that authorizes them to use the diagnostics and repair software for ECUs, the diagnostics series and the technical data sheets for the maintenance and repair of a vehicle that has been registered by means of its VIN in the Citroën system. The prices of the "Jeton" license are listed on the web page. The license authorizes users to carry out the operations listed below for vehicles registered in the Citroën system by means of their VIN for a period of seven consecutive calendar days (weekends, holidays and work-free days included) from the time of vehicle registration.
Furthermore, the "Support" service provides access to the telephone hotline. Refer to the web page for the all-inclusive price for the hotline.
In order to access these ECU programming functions (remote programming, synchronization, teach-in function and download), users must provide proof of regular participation in the training courses required for correct handling of the Citroën diagnostics tool: 15-hour initial training and a 4-hour follow-up training course once a year.
The range of vehicles and ECUs that can be reprogrammed is defined by Citroën. In addition to the Bosch information, the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer must also be observed.
Note: The Citroën application DiagBox supports the use of a proxy server.
Bosch is responsible neither for the links to the OEM portals nor their contents.
